Roy Tremble was raised in a Christian home in a small town in Kansas. The night his parents took him to hear the Blackwood Brothers and The Statesmen Quartet inspired in Roy a dream to sing in a quartet. In 1965 Roy attended the Stamps Quartet School of Gospel Music in Dallas, Texas, winning their talent contest. Soon after, he joined his first full-time singing group, The Lancers. Through the years, Roy has sung with groups such as The Weatherfords and The Blackwood Quartet. During the '70's Roy was a member of The Cathedrals, winning four Dove Awards and three Grammy nominations. Since leaving the Cathedrals, he has concentrated on a solo ministry. Roy has also been part of several Bill Gaither Homecoming Friends videos.

Roy is recognized as having one of the finest tenor voices in gospel music today and he feels God's call to him to serve His people through his gift of music. He was introduced by George Younce on the Cathedrals Reunion video as "one of the finest tenor singers in gospel music." His own experiences in his life lead him to claim II Corinthians 1:3-4:

"Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted by God."

Thus, Roy has found his ministry in the comfort and joy he shares with others through his music. Call today to make his ministry a part of your ministry.
